I've only listened to two shows so far, and one was the popwhore crossover...but first off, great stuff -- very entertaining.
Second, Paula what did you think of Big Night? I love that movie. I had to watch it for a lit class in college and have seen it several times since....best movie food scenes ever. It's like the pasta version of Sideways.
I'm not sure why you thought Jon Favreau (Swingers) was in it, but....
You need to figure out how to make that timpano (sp??) dish -- I know it's probably made up, but watching the facial orgrasms on the guests when they eat it -- you gotta figure it out!
claybird- I haven't watched Big Night yet. It should be on its way from Netflix. I will watch it extra carefully and see if the dish that you speak fondly of can be replicated. In any case, I think I owe you a pasta dinner.
